The moon sets over the Garub Plains in the Namib Desert. The moon is soft because:
1) It moves visibly in the 0.6sec exposure
2) It is distorted by the atmosphere at this low angle
3) A strong wind was blowing, vibrating the long lens (400mm) despite the sturdy tripod. This also causes the trees to be slightly soft.
